Ladies Tea at Willow Tree Baptist Church 5/17/2015

  The Women's group had a ladies tea at Willow tree Baptist church on May 17th 2015.  Many women participated in this activity.
Carol Jones was the speaker for this event and a 2 girls sang for the Activity.  ( I will be getting there names, Last name shriver)

   Many Tea cups were collected for this and even the kids got involved with tea cups. Many thanks go to Elaine Grugin for getting this event organized and the involvement of who participated in organizing and getting this together. Libby Thompson Crouched a little tea set for the kids. It was very cute! Food was bought by the church and prepared by the ladies of the Mission Circle! Once again, this is an activity that brings a lot of fun to the Women and Girls of our Church! A lot of the community came out to this and Really had a good time. Thanks to our neighboring churches and community for Coming to our Ladies tea.  God Bless!

ABW Ministries:  Willow Tree Baptist Church: Spring Cleaning in Wierton 4/30/2015

These wonderful ladies from Willow Tree Baptist in Fairmont came to clean and stock our kitchen today! Their American Baptist Women's Ministry Circle collected all the pots and pans and utensils we needed plus two garbage bags filled with paper products and supplies. They worked hard to really "spring clean" the nooks and crannies! What a wonderful serving ministry! We can't thank them enough! — with Elaine Grugin.

Blankets for Cancer Patients

The ABW Women's group at Willow Tree got together to not only do a blanket for Pastor Dave but also for many cancer patients! For cancer patients at Fairmont Regional Medical Center.

ABW March 16th

For our March meeting, We had a Guest speaker, Paige Paugh, from the Pregnancy Resource Center of Marion County Inc. She spoke to us about helping the hurting find a place to grow and giving babies a chance to flourish. She also spoke to us about brining in resources to make the center a Medical Facility.

The ladies are currently saving baby bottles of change for donations.
